Curriculum
The one week yoga class follows a short and precise curriculum to inculcate the basic values of Yoga and its practices:
- Yoga Poses
Increase flexibility and stretch your body with basic yog asanas. Practice the basic yoga poses and get familiar with the different yoga styles, such as Ashtanga, Hatha, Sivananda, Restorative, etc. - Breathing Exercise
Balance your body, mind, and soul with different Pranayama techniques. Increase the flow of oxygen with deep breathing exercises, which heals the mind completely and promotes peace. - Meditation
Control your thoughts and increase awareness through soulful meditation. It helps to look inside our minds and heal the stress. Learn different types of meditation, such as Buddha Meditation, So-ham meditation, Vipassana meditation, etc.

Teachers

Prakash Acharya
Prakash Acharya, the founder of Nepal Yoga Home was nominated as the Ambassador of Nepal, because of his constant contribution to the education of underprivileged children. He has trained many students as a certified Yoga teacher. He did his majors in science and gradually devoted his life to Yoga and did an M.Sc in Yoga. Currently, he’s pursuing a Ph.D. in meditation from Nepal Sanskrit University.

RamHari Thapa
Ram Hari Thapa is a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor with a specialization in Ashtanga Vinyasa. He had a keen interest in Yoga since early childhood and pursued Yoga as a career after completing his MA in English. He has taught in Manokranti Center, Kathmandu and actively participates in Yoga workshops. He received a special award and price in Sringeri, Karnataka for memorizing the complete Bhagavad Geeta.

Located near the Nagarjun Jungle, the center is surrounded by panoramic views of the Himalayas and jungle. The center offers spacious yoga halls, lush green lawns, a garden for organic supplies and a multitude of other facilities. Full of natural beauty and fresh air flow, the center provides a refreshing and rejuvenating ambiance for all our guests. They also have a common area, where the guests can socialize, read books or use the internet, whilst experiencing the yogic life.
